Description
Fasco D128 3-Speed 1500 RPM General Purpose Motor, 115V
Built as a general purpose motor for small blowers, range hoods, and evaporator fans, the Fasco D128 packs three selectable speeds into a compact 3-⅜-inch (3.3″) frame utilizing 115 volts and 1500 rpm. A shaded-pole design keeps wiring simple, while sleeve bearings and thermal overload protection help the motor run quietly for years.
Keep a Fasco D128 on the truck and you’ll have a ready drop-in for dozens of light-duty air-moving jobs—no capacitor, no fuss, just wire the speed you need and button up the cabinet.
Why it works well in light-duty air-moving jobs
| Three Speed Taps (1500 RPM max) | Choose high, medium, or low airflow by wiring Black = High, Blue = Med, Red = Low. |
| Shaded-pole, Open-air-over Design | No start capacitor to fail; motor relies on the fan’s own airflow for cooling. |
| Thermally Protected Windings | Automatic shut-off if the motor overheats, then reset when it cools. |
| Double-shaft, 5/16″ Diameter | 4-in. shafts extend from both ends, making the motor reversible for belt-drive or direct-drive fan wheels. |
| Stud-mount (2.85″ bolt circle) or Belly-band | Installs easily in most small fan housings. |
| Sleeve Bearings rated 40 °C Ambient | Quiet operation for bathroom exhaust fans or refrigerated cases. |
