Description
The Fireye MBPF-100S is a self-contained, 120VAC flame sensor module that provides visual indication and electrical output signaling flame presence in a combustion chamber. The module uses Fireye optical ultra-violet scanners and/or a flame rod to sense flame presence, either independently or as a component within a larger burner management system. The MBPF-100S features a Flame ON LED and a user-controlled Flame Fail LED, along with analog output test points that allow direct reading of the flame signal. It uses a standard 11-pin relay base and supports panel surface or DIN-rail mounting, with remote testing of contacts available. A self-check scanner option is also available for use with this module. The MBPF-100S is UL recognized and FM approved.
When MBPF modules are used, additional means must be furnished to provide functions usually handled by flame safeguard control systems in order to meet local regulations, including safe start check, valve closure, starting and running interlocks, and safety timings. Note: when Fireye products are combined with equipment manufactured by others or integrated into systems designed by others, the Fireye warranty pertains only to the Fireye products themselves, not to the combined system or its overall performance.
