Description

The Goodman GPHM3 is an all-in-one packaged heat pump rated at 13.4 SEER2 and 6.7 HSPF2, available in 2 to 5-ton sizes. It combines the cooling and heating sections into a single cabinet — with no separate indoor and outdoor units — for straightforward installation, and is convertible for horizontal or downflow ductwork configurations. It uses R-32 refrigerant for reduced environmental impact and can be paired with a field-installed electric heat kit for supplemental heating.

At the core is an energy-efficient scroll compressor with an internal relief valve for dependable, consistent performance — single-stage across most of the lineup, with two-stage cooling on the 5-ton unit for better part-load efficiency. An all-aluminum evaporator coil pairs with copper tube/aluminum fin condenser coils, a liquid-line filter drier, and a totally enclosed, permanently lubricated condenser fan motor for reliable, low-maintenance operation. A multi-speed ECM indoor blower motor circulates air efficiently and quietly.

The heavy-gauge galvanized-steel cabinet has an attractive two-tone Nickel Gray powder-paint finish, a fully insulated air-handling compartment with convenient access panels, and a compressor sound blanket for quieter operation.
