The Resideo S87D1004 is a solid-state two-rod Direct Spark Ignition (DSI) control module, meticulously designed for gas-fired furnaces, boilers, and heating appliances. It manages the ignition sequence and gas valve operation while monitoring flame presence using separate spark and sensing rods. If ignition fails within 6 seconds, the system initiates a lockout, providing a strong safety profile. Compatible with gas controls rated at 2 A or less, the S87D1004/U is ideal for residential and light commercial applications.
