The iO HVAC Controls BAL Series Rectangular Electronic Balancing Damper is engineered for precise, remote-adjustable airflow control in commercial and residential duct systems. Built from durable extruded aluminum, the rectangular BAL damper is ideal for supply or return applications where access is limited, ceilings are finished, or manual balancing is impractical.
Each unit includes a factory-installed 9VDC proportional motor actuator with dual RJ11 ports, allowing technicians to make exact adjustments using the BAL-C handheld controller. Simply rotate the controller’s dial and the damper positions itself with precise accuracy — no ladders, no ceiling tiles removed, and no external power supply required.
Designed for scalability, up to nine rectangular BAL dampers can be connected in a daisy-chain configuration, making them perfect for larger zoning or multi-branch systems requiring fine-tuned balancing.
