How It Works
The V46AC-1 senses refrigerant head pressure through its 30″ capillary and 1/4″ flare nut fitting. As head pressure rises, the valve opens to increase condenser water flow, cooling the refrigerant and lowering system pressure. When pressure drops to the setpoint, the valve closes to conserve water. This automatic, self-contained action requires no electrical power, making it a reliable and energy-efficient solution.
