Description

Lochinvar & A.O. Smith 100166248 .95″wc SPDT Pressure Switch

The Lochinvar & A.O. Smith 100166248 is a factory-specified SPDT (Single-Pole Double-Throw) pressure switch engineered for use in Lochinvar and A.O. Smith water heater and boiler applications. Rated at a precise 0.95″ water column (w.c.) setpoint, this switch monitors combustion air pressure or flue draft to verify safe operating conditions before allowing burner ignition — a critical safety function in modern condensing and non-condensing heating equipment.

Key Features

• OEM replacement part for Lochinvar and A.O. Smith heating equipment
• SPDT (Single-Pole Double-Throw) switching action for versatile circuit control
• 0.95″ w.c. (water column) factory-set pressure setpoint
• Monitors combustion air or inducer draft pressure to ensure safe burner operation
• Direct OEM fit — no modifications required for compatible units
• Helps protect against unsafe ignition under improper draft or blocked flue conditions

Application

• Compatible with select Lochinvar and A.O. Smith residential and commercial water heaters and boilers
• Designed to work in conjunction with draft inducer blower assemblies
• Ideal for service technicians performing OEM-spec repairs and replacements

Why Choose OEM?

Using the correct OEM pressure switch ensures your Lochinvar or A.O. Smith unit operates within manufacturer-specified safety parameters. An incorrect setpoint can lead to nuisance lockouts or, more critically, unsafe ignition attempts. The 100166248 delivers the exact 0.95″ w.c. trip point required by the equipment’s control board, maintaining system integrity and warranty compliance.
