The Lux TQ1-BL-L04 is a smart programmable thermostat designed for effortless smart-home integration. Built with Matter 1.4 certification, it works with Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Samsung SmartThings — no extra apps to download or accounts to create. Simply scan the QR code on the device with your preferred smart-home app and you’re connected in seconds.

The TQ1 gives you full local and remote control of your heating and cooling through your existing smart speaker or Matter controller. A locally stored 7-day schedule lets you customize comfort around your routine, while energy use tracking and a graphical effort indicator help you save on utility bills. A built-in circulator fan timer improves comfort without running your full HVAC system continuously.

All system configuration is performed directly on the device’s 2.4″ IPS touchscreen display — no app required. A keypad lock-out feature with numeric PIN code adds security, and the future-proof Matter protocol means you can switch smart-home platforms anytime without being locked into one ecosystem. Installation is quick and straightforward with on-screen step-by-step instructions. The TQ1 uses your existing wiring and requires either a C-wire or the LUX Power Bridge (sold separately). An optional trim plate is available to cover wall imperfections from a previous thermostat.
