The QEL 85930-018-012 smart sensor assembly lets you refresh an ethylene oxide (EtO) gas detector without replacing the whole transmitter. This factory-calibrated module drops into compatible Q5/B5 EtO transmitters and restores accurate 0–20 ppm monitoring with a simple board swap.
Because the calibration data is stored in the smart sensor assembly itself, you don’t need to fully recalibrate the transmitter after replacement. Once the new module is installed and warmed up, you verify it’s working and put the unit back in service. That makes it especially useful in healthcare, sterilization, and industrial environments where EtO monitoring is required, but shutting down systems for long service windows is difficult.
