4-channel switch/relay input module that brings field switches and contacts back to the Q-Controller
The QEL BI-BOX-0 lets you cleanly bring more on/off signals like fan overrides, purge switches, alarm resets, and door contacts back into your Q-Controller without adding a separate PLC or relay panel. Each module gives you four extra “switch inputs” the controller can use for logic, alarms, and sequences, so your gas detection system and building controls stay coordinated.
An internal 24 VDC source powers Q-Switch stations and their LEDs directly from the BI-BOX, which keeps wiring simple and avoids extra power supplies in the panel.
The module rides on the same 2-wire RS-485 network as your QEL sensors, so you can drop it where it’s convenient and still manage everything from the Q-Controller touchscreen.
For larger projects, a single Q-Controller can support up to 31 BI-BOX modules plus the four onboard switch inputs for a total of 128 switch inputs—plenty for parking garages, plants, and multi-zone facilities that need a lot of local controls and status contacts.
