Description

The RectorSeal Safe-T-Switch Model SS1 (part #97632) is a patented inline condensate overflow shutoff switch designed to detect clogged A/C condensate drains and automatically shut off the system before water damage occurs to floors, walls, and ceilings. The SS1 installs vertically or horizontally inline on primary drain lines or on the primary drain pan’s auxiliary outlet using the included 3/4″ adapter, bushing, and cap, and can be mounted on sloping lines up to 45° without needing to be level or plumb, making it one of the most flexible condensate safety switches available. The magnetic reed switch features embedded magnets that won’t fall out, a thicker stem for added durability, and an extended magnet surface area for smoother, more reliable float operation, with a fully adjustable ratcheting activation level to reduce nuisance shutdowns. Rated at 24 VAC maximum at 1.25 amps and UL 508 listed (cULus), the SS1 ships pre-wired with 18 AWG lead wires and includes a directional cleanout tool for code-compliant inline cleanout access.
