Description
The iO HVAC Controls RBD Register Boot Damper is a retrofit zone damper designed to install directly into a register boot without taking apart existing ductwork. Available for register boots with 6″, 7″, or 8″ collars, the RBD fits most boot configurations and is equipped with a Belimo actuator for reliable 24VAC, 3-wire power open/power close operation with a 35-second timing cycle. Installation is straightforward: the damper slides into the boot with the blade in the open position, rotates so the blade seats into the collar, and is secured in place with a mounting bracket and self-tapping screws. The RBD is compatible with most zone control panels and systems, making it a practical solution for adding zoning to existing ductwork without the labor and cost of duct modification. Backed by a 5-year warranty. Register and boot not included.
