How PHI Technology Works
RGF’s Photohydroionization technology uses a broad-spectrum UV light source combined with a hydrated quad-metallic target to produce ionized hydro-peroxides, superoxide ions, and hydroxide ions. These friendly oxidizers are distributed throughout the conditioned space via the HVAC airstream, proactively reducing airborne and surface contaminants including bacteria, mold, viruses, VOCs, and odors — without producing harmful levels of ozone.
