Description
The Schneider Electric (Barber Colman) 2354-502 is a Pneumodular diverting relay designed for pneumatic control systems in commercial HVAC and building automation applications. Featuring SPDT (Single-Pole, Double-Throw) switching action, this relay responds to supply air pressure to route pneumatic signals with precision and reliability.
How It Works
The 2354-502 monitors incoming pneumatic signal pressure and switches output connections based on defined pressure thresholds. Below 16 Psig, the Normally Open (NO) and Common (C) ports are connected, allowing the default pneumatic circuit to remain active. Above 19 Psig, the Normally Closed (NC) and Common (C) ports are connected, redirecting the pneumatic signal to the alternate circuit. This SPDT switching behavior makes it ideal for diverting or sequencing pneumatic control signals in complex building automation and HVAC systems.
