Description
The Jumper King 2.0 (TFXJK) is built for techs who need to isolate low-voltage control issues fast without tearing into a thermostat or running temporary jumpers by hand. It bypasses any low-voltage thermostat regardless of terminal style, letting you quickly confirm whether a no-cool or no-heat call is a thermostat problem or something downstream — locating low-voltage shorts and eliminating compressor short cycling in the process.
This upgraded 2.0 version adds durable rocker switches so you can activate individual leads/circuits as needed instead of running everything at once, plus tougher jumper leads rated for daily field use. A red popper fuse gives a clear visual on shorts before they damage equipment, and front-facing lead ports keep the unit more compact and organized in a tool bag or pouch. The integrated magnet and fold-out hook give you hands-free options on a rooftop unit or inside a furnace cabinet.
Four interchangeable tip styles — alligator clamps, magnetic tips, L-shaped magnetic tips, and self-piercing insulation tips — cover most low-voltage wire and terminal configurations you’ll run into in the field. No batteries required; the tool draws power directly from the low-voltage circuit on the unit you’re testing. Works on multi-stage systems including heat pumps.
For use on low-voltage circuits only (0-30VAC/VDC). Not rated for line voltage.
