Trane COL28467 Spine Fin Condenser Coil

Description

The Trane COL28467 is an OEM replacement Spine Fin condenser coil engineered to restore peak performance in compatible Trane condensing units. Trane’s proprietary Spine Fin coil technology features a continuous aluminum fin wrapped in a spine pattern around the refrigerant tubing, maximizing surface area for superior heat transfer efficiency compared to traditional flat-fin designs.

Spine Fin Technology Advantages

• Continuous spine-wrapped aluminum fin construction increases heat transfer surface area
• Improved airflow characteristics reduce static pressure drop across the coil
• Corrosion-resistant aluminum fin material for long-lasting outdoor durability
• Tight coil-to-tube contact minimizes thermal resistance for efficient heat rejection
• OEM Trane design ensures proper fit and function in compatible condensing equipment

Why Choose an OEM Trane Replacement Coil

Using a genuine Trane OEM condenser coil guarantees dimensional accuracy and refrigerant circuit compatibility with your existing equipment. An OEM coil maintains the original system efficiency ratings and helps preserve any remaining equipment warranty. Aftermarket substitutes may compromise system capacity, efficiency, and long-term reliability.

Ideal Applications

• Replacement of damaged, leaking, or degraded condenser coils in compatible Trane condensing units
• Scheduled preventive maintenance coil replacement programs
• Restoration of rated system SEER/EER efficiency after coil failure
