Description
The Trane SWT2514 is a genuine OEM air pressure switch engineered for safety and control in gas furnaces and HVAC systems. It is used to monitor airflow and vacuum conditions within the furnace or air handler. When the system’s inducer fan creates the proper pressure differential, the pressure switch closes its internal contacts and allows the system to continue operating. If the measured pressure falls outside the safe operating range, the switch opens the circuit to prevent unsafe operation, protecting internal components and improving system reliability.
