Description
Designed for use in gas furnaces, air handlers, and HVAC systems, the Trane SWT2685 Auto Limit Switch acts as a critical temperature safety device in the inducer/blower circuit. When the internal air temperature exceeds its set threshold (~155 °F), the switch opens the circuit to halt system operation and help protect heat exchangers, inducer motors, and wiring from heat damage. As temperatures cool (~95 °F), the switch automatically resets, ready to resume normal control functions.
