The Trane SWT4455 is an OEM low pressure switch engineered to protect refrigerant circuits and compressors from operating under dangerously low-pressure conditions. How It Works
The SWT4455 monitors system refrigerant pressure continuously. When pressure drops to the open setpoint of 35 PSI, the switch opens the circuit to shut down the system and prevent compressor damage. Once pressure recovers to the close setpoint of 55 PSI, the switch closes and allows normal operation to resume.
