The Watts 0037100 is a 3/4″ Float and Thermostatic (F&T) Steam Trap engineered for dependable condensate and air removal in low-pressure steam heating systems. Combining a float-operated condensate discharge mechanism with a thermostatic air vent, this trap continuously drains condensate as it forms while simultaneously purging non-condensable gases — keeping your steam system operating at peak efficiency.
How It Works
The float element responds instantly to condensate levels, opening the discharge valve proportionally to condensate flow. The integrated thermostatic element vents air and CO₂ at startup and during operation, preventing air binding that can rob a system of heating capacity. Together, these two mechanisms deliver continuous, modulating condensate removal without steam loss.
