The York S1 7975 3281 is a factory spec, OEM limit switch (fan switch / auto limit switch) designed to protect gas furnaces and HVAC systems by monitoring plenum or heat exchanger temperature and automatically controlling the blower/fan circuit. It helps ensure safe operation by turning the blower on or off based on temperature thresholds — preventing overheating and promoting proper airflow.
