The ZoneFirst RDP-10 is a complete 10-inch round zone damper assembly engineered for reliable, precise airflow control in residential and light commercial HVAC zoning systems. This ready-to-install package bundles the round damper with the MP12M modular motor and a 25-foot modular cord (PIW25), giving installers everything needed to get the zone up and running quickly.
Power Open / Power Closed Operation
Unlike spring-return designs, the RDP-10 uses a 12Vdc power open/power closed (POPC) motor that actively drives the damper blade in both directions. This provides positive, definitive positioning — fully open or fully closed — on demand from the zone control panel, eliminating the uncertainty of passive spring-return mechanisms.
Modular Motor & Cord Design
The included MP12M modular motor snaps directly onto the damper for fast, tool-free installation. The 25-foot PIW25 modular cord provides generous reach to the zone panel without field splicing, keeping wiring clean and code-compliant.
