Description
The ASCO S262SH02N3FJ5 is a 1-inch, 2-way normally open gas vent valve used in industrial and commercial fuel gas systems where venting of fuel gas is required in a double block and vent configuration. It is designed for use in vent piping located between shut-off valves to safely allow venting of gas to atmosphere and prevent unintended gas buildup. This valve uses a pilot-operated, zero differential diaphragm design for reliable control and fast response, and it is suitable for natural gas service with ambient temperatures from about -20°F up to 170°F. Typical maximum differential pressure rating is up to about 25 psi, and it has a flow capacity (Cv) of around 19.8. The threaded 1 inch NPT connection simplifies installation and the aluminum body provides corrosion resistance.
