Designed in an A-section profile with a notched (cogged) construction, this belt delivers improved flexibility, reduced heat buildup, and increased efficiency—up to approximately 98% under proper operating conditions. EPDM material provides enhanced resistance to heat, ozone, and environmental wear compared to standard neoprene belts. With an approximate 51-inch outside length, the AX49 is ideal for high-speed drives and smaller sheave diameters where efficiency and durability are critical.
