Description
The Conbraco 10-614-20 (also known under Apollo’s RVW61 series) is a high-capacity, ASME Section IV certified safety relief valve for hot-water heating systems. Designed for reliability and durability, this bronze-bodied valve ensures protection and peace of mind by safely venting excess pressure from boilers, hydronic systems, and other water-heated equipment.
Key Features
- Fixed / Adjustable Pressure: Factory-set to 100 PSI, but can be pre-set across a wide range from 15 to 160 psig.
- Connections: ¾″ female NPT (inlet) × 1″ female NPT (outlet) — compatible with standard plumbing configurations.
- High Capacity: Rated for approx. 2,536,000 BTU/hr, making it ideal for large or high-heat-output heating systems.
- Construction: Durable bronze body (ASTM B584) resists corrosion and supports long-term use.
- Seating: Features a silicone seat for tight, leak-resistant sealing under pressure.
- Spring Chamber: Uses a fabric-reinforced diaphragm to isolate the internal spring from water exposure, increasing longevity and reliability.
- Elevated Seat Design: Drains water away from the seat area, reducing wear and minimizing the risk of seat damage.
- Temperature Rating: Designed for operation up to 250 °F.
- Certified Capacity: Entire pressure range is National Board capacity certified, ensuring safety and compliance.
- High-Quality Materials: Alloy steel spring (plated) and brass disc deliver strong, reliable performance.
