The Daikin FDMA_AVJU9 is an Aurora series concealed ducted indoor unit, built for hidden installation in a ceiling, soffit, or closet with air delivered through standard residential ductwork and no visible indoor head. Available in multiple sizes to match a compatible Daikin Aurora RXP_AVJU9 outdoor low-temperature heat pump.
This is Daikin’s cold-climate residential line, rated for reliable heating operation down to roughly -13.8°F and cooling operation up to 114.8°F, with low-ambient cooling capability to -4°F available using a field-installed wind baffle. The inverter-driven compressor uses PAM control for efficient part-load operation, and adjustable external static pressure (up to 0.6 in. WG) supports longer duct runs than a typical wall-mounted mini split, making it a good fit for multi-room zoning without extensive ductwork.
Additional features include a titanium apatite deodorizing filter, a filter-cleaning indicator, 3-step switchable fan speed with auto mode, quick warming function, program dry operation, fan-only mode, Econo mode, and a built-in refrigerant leak detection system. The unit is Wi-Fi compatible via an optional DKN Cloud adapter for remote control and monitoring.
