HVAC Zone Control Boards
Zone control boards are essential in HVAC zoning systems, translating thermostat commands to manage specific home or building zones. Available in multiple configurations, Jackson Systems & Supply offers a wide selection of zone control boards, including options for split systems, RTUs, heat pumps, and dual-fuel applications. These versatile control boards manage heating and cooling units, gas valves, zoning equipment, and furnace ignitors, ensuring precise control over HVAC functions to optimize comfort and efficiency.

Pick the Right Panel For the Job
Honeywell TrueZONE (Plug-and-Play Kits): For 1H/1C conventional, use the HZ311K 3-zone kit—it includes a discharge air sensor and 40VA transformer for a tidy, one-box install. Step up to the HZ322 panel (2H/2C) or the HZ432K 4-zone kit (3H/2C), which comes with the C7735A DATS and transformer. Add zones later with the TAZ-4H Add-A-Zone to expand HZ432 systems up to 32 zones.
iO HVAC Controls (ESP Series—no bypass needed): Choose built-in static pressure control that eliminates a bypass damper. For single-stage split systems, start with the ZP2-HC-ESP-KIT (2 zones). Need heat pump/dual fuel or multi-stage? Scale to ZP3-HPS-ESP or ZP4-ESP (4 zones). For larger jobs, go ZP6 with the ZP6-EP expansion. Already have a panel? Add the ESP-400 module to control static pressure without a bypass.
Aprilaire (Straightforward Zoning): Solid, easy-to-wire boards like the 6302 2-zone heat-pump panel and 6403 3-zone multi-stage panel cover common residential layouts.
Light Commercial: When the building needs more zones and smarter staging, the iO Z-2000 commercial panel (up to 20 zones) offers auto changeover, staged heating/cooling, and modulating/two-position damper support.
What’s Included and Why It Matters
Many TrueZONE kits ship with the discharge air sensor (DATS) and a transformer, cutting extra parts and trips. iO ESP panels use a pressure sensor to crack non-calling dampers just enough to protect the equipment and quiet airflow—no barometric bypass to balance. Those touches speed setup, reduce callbacks, and protect coils and heat exchangers.
How to Match a Board in Minutes
- System Type & Stages: Conventional, heat pump, or dual-fuel—and how many stages (e.g., 2H/2C).
- Zone Count & Expansion: 2–6 zones today? Pick a board that grows (e.g., HZ432 + TAZ-4H; ZP6 + ZP6-EP).
- Static Pressure Plan: Use iO ESP panels or module to avoid a bypass damper on most jobs.
- Included Parts: Kits with DATS/transformer save time; some iO kits add the pressure sensor.
- Dampers & Actuators: Match your damper style (2- or 3-wire). Most panels work with common 24-V dampers.
